Kramp & Adler's Comedy Festival: Marc Maron + Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman at Turner Hall Ballroom
Marc Maron came up in the club circuit in New York with Louis C.K. and David Cross in the late ’80s and early ’90s, made regular appearances on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, and honed his aggressive rants to somewhere between Woody Allen’s self-deprecation and Lenny Bruce’s angry, confrontational stand-up. Kristen Schaal is probably best known for playing Mel, stalker-ish fan-base-of-one on Flight Of The Conchords, or from her recent ascendancy as a Daily Show correspondent, but her oeuvre also incorporates everything from surrealist short films involving drunk, gun-toting puppets and Pocahontas having phone sex to the lauded New York variety show Hot Tub. Eugene Mirman will also be on hand for this ridiculously stacked night of alt-comedy hosted by local DJs Kramp & Adler.
