Milwaukee band The Championship is set to release a new full-length album, High Feather, on Oct. 16—its first release since 2009’s Moving At The Speed Of Darkness EP. In advance of the new record, singer-songwriter Joe Crockett and company have unveiled a video for its first single, “My Heart Goes Out To You.” The clip is directed by Milwaukee photographer C.J. Foeckler, and edited by Crockett. It’s a straight-up, no-frills performance video that perfectly compliments the song’s hushed tone and Crockett’s mournful croon.
Pre-sales for 180-gram, white vinyl copies of High Feather are now being taken at the band’s website.
