Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters are kind of like Tom Petty, in that they churn out song after song that becomes part of the rock ’n’ roll weather without sounding especially monumental in any way. They’re easy to take for granted, as they often are, but what is Dave Grohl if not a demon when it comes to writing hooks that fly out of a radio like so many winged horses in magic-hour sun? The Foos' last full-length was 2007's Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, which picked up a Grammy for Best Rock Album.
